Situated on the second floor of the town hall, it contains about 9,000 books in Italian and French, for adults and children, as well as reference books, audiovisual material and collections of magazines from Val d’Aosta local authorities. The library is well provided with seating and has facilities for listening to music and watching videos and DVDs, which can be loaned upon booking.
The management organises various activities
such as training courses, exhibitions, expeditions, conferences, book
launches and examinations.
It also administers the historical archives and municipal photographic collection and participates in various projects including the ethnographic museum “Petit-Monde”, Torgnon family genealogy and the municipal magazine “Torgnon-news”.

The Municipal Library is open to the public with the following timetable:
Monday from 9:00 to 12:30
Tuesday from 8:00 am to 14:30
Thursday from 14.00 to 17.00
Saturday from 14.00 to 17.30
(from the third week of July until the last week of August, and in the
winter during the week of the feast of the Immaculate Conception during
the holidays of Christmas, Carnival and Easter):
Monday from 9:00 to 12:30
Tuesday from 8:00 am to 13:30
Thursday from 14.00 to 18:00
